Extreme Screen Prints is looking for a Press Assistant/ Production Specialist that will work directly with our automatic screen printing presses, but also have the opportunity to be considered for a jack of all trades within our shop. We are looking for an individual who possesses real life skills, is a great leader, and has an excellent work ethic. This person is the type to really want to succeed in the workplace while having a blast creating apparel for bands, breweries, clothing lines, and more!

What You'll Need:

• Experience running an automatic screen printing press- willing to train for the right candidate
• Prior experience in a screen printing shop is a preferred but not required
• Must be organized, have a good work ethic, and a positive attitude
• Must have the ability to handle a deadline driven production schedule.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Leadership skills and experience

What You’ll Do:

• Helping press operators with setting up screens, loading, unloading, printing and catching, continually monitoring press, inspecting for consistent print quality and notifying the press operator if there are any problems.
• Must maintain and ensure press equipment is clean and in proper operating condition daily.
• Potential to work in a mix all of our production floor departments
• Be a team player within each department, helping in other departments as needed

In the event that a candidate is a great fit to act as a production specialist, they may be considered for cross-training in the following departments:

- Finishing Services: Folding, bagging, applying heat transfers, applying hang tags, applying hem tags or woven labels, counting, and boxing orders.

- Reclaim: Removing tape and washing out screens to be used again

- Quality Control: Checking prints for quality, counting, and boxing orders

- Inks: Mixing ink colors from the Pantone Solid Coated book, sorting and storing inks, gathering inks for each order's specifications

- Screen Room: Printing and preparing screens for press. Washing out, tapping and inspecting screens

- Stock & Receiving: Sorting, counting, and staging stock for press.

POTENTIAL FOR DAILY PRODUCTION BONUS

Press assistants may start receiving a daily bonus after 90 days of employment and after being able to run a press alone at minimum capacity. Daily minimum point quota must be met to make a bonus, every point after the minimum point quota adds to the daily production bonus.

Our daily production bonus system is unique to Extreme Screen Prints and allows operators and helpers to make extra money every day based on performance, following a production point system. This means there is no-limit to how much you can make. Our shop average is about $2.5 to $3 or more per hour for our press assistants.

• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords and phrases
• Optimize content, including meta tags, headings, and URLs, for improved search engine visibility
• Monitor and analyze social media and website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Develop and implement marketing strategies for social media
• Collaborate with our Social Media Manager to ensure SEO best practices are followed in the creation of new content
• Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues that may impact online performance
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms
• Write well-written and knowledgeable blogs on our industry to help drive website views

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SEO and Marketing or similar role
• Proven experience helping a small company increase revenue through social media channels
• Prior experience in screen printing/ industry knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and web development concepts
• Proficiency in using SEO tools
• Experience with social media management and its impact on SEO
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
• Backlink building strategies
• Familiarity with metadata optimization for improved search engine visibility
• Strong copywriting skills

• Help to problem solve a variety of issues pertaining to production

Departments include:

-Finishing Services: Folding, bagging, applying heat transfers, applying hang tags, applying hem tags or woven labels, counting, and boxing orders.

-Press: Working with the press operator to run the automatic press, unloading shirts and checking for inconsistencies.

-Reclaim: Removing tape and washing out screens to be used again

• Leadership skill and experience
• Ability to delegate and help a team of 15 people or more
• Knowledge of both sides of screen printing production: on the production floor and on the customer service side
• Experience with screen printing separations
• Familiarity with Adobe creative suite: Photoshop and Illustrator
• General print knowledge
• Garment knowledge
